Sheltered canopy porch design meets authentic Finnish thermal therapy.
The ALEKO Liatris Rustic Cedar Canopy Barrel Sauna brings together classic barrel performance with an extended front porch canopy for cooling down between heat cycles. Perfectly sized for 2 to 4 adults, this outdoor wet/dry sauna is crafted from thick natural Rustic Red Cedar that naturally insulates against temperature swings while emitting a fresh cedar aroma.
Powered by an authentic 4.5 kW UL-Certified Harvia KIP Finnish electric heater, the curved circular profile promotes continuous convective airflow for fast, even heating. Featuring dual 64-inch interior benches, exterior porch seating, a convenient exterior towel rack, a tinted glass privacy door, and protective asphalt roof shingles, the Liatris creates an all-in-one backyard spa sanctuary.
Key Features
- Sheltered Front Canopy Porch: Includes exterior cedar seating and an exterior wooden towel rack, creating a dedicated space to cool off and rest between sessions.
- Solid Rustic Red Cedar: Approx. 1.2-inch (30 mm) thick cedar staves resist outdoor weather, decay, and insects while providing natural insulation and a rich cedar scent.
- Authentic 4.5 kW Harvia KIP Heater: Genuine Finnish UL-certified electric heater featuring adjustable temperature dials (158°F–194°F), an auto 60-minute shut-off timer, and multi-tier stone capacity for wet or dry steam therapy.
- Energy-Efficient Barrel Design: Circular architecture eliminates cold corners, heating faster and using less power than traditional rectangular sauna cabins.
- Comfortable 2–4 Person Capacity: Full-length 64-inch dual interior benches offer generous space for family sessions or relaxed solo stretching.
- Tinted Glass Privacy Door: 5/16-inch thick tempered tinted glass door preserves interior warmth while providing privacy and natural light.
- All-Weather Asphalt Roofing: Weather-resistant asphalt shingles protect the upper cedar staves from direct UV rays, rain, and snow.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I speak to someone before I place an order?
We encourage it. Investing in high-ticket wellness architecture is a major decision. Reach our concierge team directly at (888) 898-1024 or support@therecoverystate.com (Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM PST) to verify dimensions, lead times, or electrical compatibility.
Where should I install my sauna?
Most units can be installed indoors on any flat, level surface capable of supporting the weight (such as tile, concrete, or reinforced wood). For exterior placement on decks or patios, select our outdoor-rated and barrel models engineered to withstand the elements.
What electrical setup is required for my sauna?
The SaunaBox® Solara (1-Person) is our dedicated plug-and-play system, operating safely on a standard dedicated 110V/120V household outlet. All other sauna models—including the SaunaBox® Forge, ALEKO, and Dundalk Leisurecraft systems—are high-performance thermal units requiring a dedicated 220V/240V circuit installed by a certified electrician. Always check the Specifications tab above for this model’s exact breaker amperage and voltage needs.
Do you offer free shipping and freight delivery?
Yes, we offer complimentary, fully insured freight shipping on all sauna systems. Oversized units ship via dedicated freight carriers equipped with hydraulic liftgates, delivering securely curbside or to your driveway with scheduled delivery appointments included.
What payment methods and flexible financing do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. For flexible terms, we offer Shop Pay Installments (with options up to 0% APR), allowing you to divide your sanctuary investment into manageable monthly payments at checkout. Additionally, our wellness systems may qualify for pre-tax HSA/FSA spending—saving eligible buyers up to ~30%.
